That’s why HANA has created a completely free airport reception service: volunteers will be waiting for you upon arrival and will accompany you to your address, taking your flight schedule into account. Our goal is simple: to help you start your new life in Canada with peace of mind and confidence, surrounded by people who understand your journey.

As soon as you exit customs, our volunteer team welcomes you with a sign bearing your name. No more stress about navigating the airport — you are taken care of immediately in a warm and reassuring environment.
Transportation to Your Address
Our volunteers drive you directly to your accommodation — Airbnb, HANA housing, or a relative’s home — with your luggage. No need to search for a taxi or figure out public transportation upon arrival.
Welcome Meal
After a long journey, nothing beats a warm and comforting meal. We offer you a welcome meal so you can begin your Canadian journey feeling refreshed and at ease.

Complete our registration form with your details: arrival date and time, flight number, destination address, and contact information. It«s quick and easy.
We review your request based on volunteer availability. You will receive confirmation along with the contact details of your assigned volunteer within 48 hours.
On the day of your arrival, your volunteer will be waiting in the international arrivals area with a sign bearing your name. They will assist you with your luggage and answer your first questions.
Your volunteer drives you directly to your accommodation. This informal welcome moment marks the beginning of your integration into the HANA Calgary community.
A team available according to your schedule
Our service relies on the commitment of dedicated volunteers, many of whom have immigration experience themselves. They understand the challenges of arrival and offer their time and vehicles to support you.
Pickup is organized based on your arrival date and time. We do our best to ensure availability, regardless of your flight schedule. Please submit your request at least 72 hours before your arrival to guarantee availability.
